Jose leverages his 15 years of experience as a serial entrepreneur, startup founder, and company advisor to assess and identify the most promising investments for clients. Reviewing over 4,000 companies annually, he assists in selecting the optimal candidates for Boomtown’s programs and determines their ideal partner fit, guiding clients in their investment decisions. His unwavering support of startup founders extends beyond the accelerator program – Jose serves as the primary liaison for hundreds of Boomtown alumni, facilitating connections with prospective partners, mentors, and fellow alumni.
Jose holds an MBA and an M.Sc in Computer Science from CU Boulder, along with a BS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
An avid runner, swimmer, and salsa dancer, Jose resides near Boulder with his wife, three children, and a fluctuating number of foster children. He embraces lifelong learning, sharpening his mind by reading a book each week.
