For the past nine years, Hospitality Technology magazine has celebrated women making an impact in the restaurant technology industry. The Top Women in Restaurant Technology Awards recognize outstanding women from both restaurant companies and technology providers, highlighting their contributions and leadership.

The Rising Star Awards honor individuals who have been in the restaurant technology field for less than five years, shining a spotlight on emerging talent and future industry leaders.

Nomination deadline: January 6, 2025.

The Top Women in Restaurant Technology and Rising Star in Restaurant Technology awards will take place at the 30th annual MURTEC (Multi-Unit Restaurant Technology Conference), being held March 10-12, at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.

Winners will be notified in January and are required to attend MURTEC, where they will be celebrated during the event. 

In their ninth year, the Top Women in Restaurant Technology Awards program shines a spotlight on the extraordinary talent and influence of women who are not only excelling in restaurant technology but are also paving the path forward in our industry. These awards celebrate both the seasoned visionaries and the rising innovators whose work is revolutionizing the way restaurants operate. 

The Rising Stars in Restaurant Technology Awards are open to all individuals who have been working in the restaurant technology industry for less than five years. Honors will go to those who are re-imagining how things are done in restaurants while demonstrating excellence in leadership, inventiveness and skill. These awards recognize the future leaders of our industry, regardless of gender.

Rising Star and Top Women in Restaurant Technology - Innovator awards recognize the winner's work in the last 18 months. Individuals can be self-nominated or nominated by a third party (including PR firms, agencies and vendor partners)

Top Women in Restaurant Technology - Lifetime Achievement Award:

This award is presented in recognition of a lifetime (no less than 20 years) of service and accomplishments in the restaurant technology industry. This award honors women who have had an impact on the restaurant technology industry as well as their colleagues and industry peers though enthusiasm, mentorship and commitment, while also showing how technologies can provide new ways of doing things.

Eligibility: Open to restaurant operators or tech vendors with 20 or more years of experience in the restaurant technology industry. 

Top Women in Restaurant Technology - Innovator Award:

Presented to women with more than five years of restaurant technology experience who are forward thinkers and who have executed on tools and strategies to transform the restaurant technology space in a positive manner by creating or deploying emerging technologies that reimagine how things are done while paving the way for future technologies. 

Eligibility: Open to restaurant operators or tech vendors with 5 or more years of experience in the restaurant technology industry.

Rising Star in Restaurant Technology:

Presented to anyone from any level of an organization, with less than five years of experience in the industry, who has demonstrated leadership and is already making a mark in restaurant technology. From an up-and-coming customer engagement whiz, a database analyst at a restaurant brand to a stellar sales rep for IT providers, this award recognizes these rising rockstars.

Eligibility: Open to all individuals; restaurant operators or tech vendors with less than 5 years  of experience in the industry.
