Tim Guerriero has over 20 years of experience in information security and privacy, from building a state-wide security operation center as an incident response commander to developing and implementing security and privacy strategies and programs. Tim is very passionate about security and privacy, and his personal motivation is to protect people and our country. Tim was hired at P.F. Chang’s to assist the CISO in implementing an information security program to help reduce risk to the organization. He previously worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, State of Arizona, and other organizations. Tim is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), and InfraGard. Tim has served as an executive committee member and co-chairman for sever workgroups for the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC).
Tim is the Vice President and co-founder of The Makayla Fund a Suicide Awareness and Scholarship Charity. The mission of the Makayla Fund is to help educate teens and their parents to assist in preventing teen suicide in Makayla’s (Tim’s Daughter who passed away by suicide) memory. We are raising awareness through education, reducing the stigma, and serve as a resource for those touched by suicide in the entire Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Arizona. The Makayla Fund also wants to help improve the life of local teens with our high school sports scholarship program, by giving the necessary funds to play a sport even if one cannot afford it. These scholarships will help take the added pressures off families who don’t need the unwanted burdens.
