Aaron Abramoff is a partner and Chief Financial Officer for The Restaurant People (TRP), South Florida’s premier dining, hospitality, and entertainment firm, which currently owns and operates some of the hottest restaurants and nightlife venues in Fort Lauderdale, including YOLO and O Lounge, S3, Boatyard, Rooftop @ 1WLO, TRP Taste, Township, Java and Jam, and more. In his role, Abramoff is responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial operations as well as development for TRP’s various brands, both existing and in development, working closely with the onsite management teams to ensure customer service and experience standards are upheld and the highest level of efficiency with store operations are in practice.
Abramoff has been a part of TRP for almost two decades the past five years of which he has served as Chief Financial Officer. He started his career path working at Macaroni Grill while attending Florida International University’s School of Hospitality, learning the ropes, and working his way through the various front and back-of-house operations. Upon earning his degree, Abramoff joined the TRP team as an assistant manager at Tarpon Bend in Coral Gables.
A born leader, Abramoff’s drive and passion for the hospitality field always led him back to the managerial side of the operations. He continued to work his way up the ladder at TRP, moving on to become bar manager at YOLO, then general manager at Tarpon Bend Fort Lauderdale, general manager for the opening team at both Vibe Las Olas and S3, and ultimately, was promoted to director of operations for the company—a role in which seeing the various teams he leads work together to make the guest experience perfect is what he takes most pride in.
When he’s not on the job, Abramoff enjoys spending time with his family, usually boating and doing anything outdoors, and traveling with his wife, exploring the local culinary and nightlife scenes around new cities. He also donates his time to various civic and community endeavors, past member the Board of Directors for Riverwalk Trust, and on the Board of Directors at Covenant House of Florida. Abramoff currently resides in Cooper City with his wife Erin and their daughter Ophelia.
