Rising Star & Lifetime Achievement Awards Process

 

Complete the online entry form entering your contact information as well as the nominee's contact information. Self-nominations are strongly encouraged! Winners must also be able to attend MURTEC, March 10-12, 2025 in Las Vegas. By submitting the following nomination, you grant Hospitality Technology permission to use all or part of the information in future stories.  

Here is the eligibility criteria by award category:

Presented in recognition of a lifetime (no less than 20 years) of service and accomplishments in the industry.

Presented to women with more than five years of restaurant technology experience who are forward thinkers and who have executed on tools and strategies to transform restaurants. 

Presented to anyone from any level of an organization, with less than five years of experience, who is already making a mark in restaurant technology. 

 

Here are the questions you'll be asked during the nomination process by award category:

 

  • Contact Information for Nominator and Nominee (if different): First Name, Last Name, Job Title, Company Name, Nominees Phone, Nominees Email, Nominees Linkedin Profile.
  • How many years has the nominee been in the restaurant technology industry?
  • What are the nominee's primary job responsibilities?
  • INNOVATION: What area(s) of technology is the nominee particularly focused on/proficient in? Describe how they have utilized their knowledge and experience in this area to improve/drive business and foster innovation. How has the nominee gone beyond the primary job title/description?
  • ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Tell us about recent tech wins in 2024. What challenges were faced? Explain how the nominee leaned in and adapted to the times. Describe achievements or projects that she has had ownership of or initiated, that have effected change in the industry or company or community. Provide background and specifics on challenges overcome or goals achieved. 
  • RESULTS: Provide results that merit the nominee being named a Top Woman in Restaurant Technology. Explain the impact to the brand. (Minimized disruption to staff, preserving revenue, speed of pivot to off-premises, reduction in food waste, creating new revenue streams, streamlining the employee onboarding process, adding AI voice tech, etc.) Include specific examples and/or hard data as evidence of your nomination's successful endeavours. Provide measurable metrics whenever possible (e.g. increased speed of service, increased loyalty members by X, reduced waste, etc.)
  • WHY: Explain why the nominee is worthy of this award (100 words max)
  • TESTIMONIALS:  Include quotes, if possible, from colleagues that describe why this person deserves an award. Include the colleague's name, title and company name.

Stay tuned! Winners will be notified in January 2025. This information will be under embargo until the winners are announced live during the 30th anniversary MURTEC, March 10-12, 2025 at the Caesars Forum in Las Vegas. To qualify for the award, winners must be in attendance at MURTEC.
